Francy and Friends interview on Blog Talk Radio. Corin calls in around the 32:00 mark, so fast forward. Topics include Star-ving, upcoming projects, convention appearances, how he got the nickname Corky, what inspired him to become an actor and the ratings battle between Parker Lewis Can't Lose and the Ferris Bueller series. The audio quality of this interview is unbelievably bad, complete with dogs barking in the background and this weird beeping sound that I'm pretty sure is from a smoke alarm with a dying battery. The interview is about an hour long and had some funny moments:

Corin about his nickname, Corky:
"The family always called me that when I was growing up... I shook it off in my early teens. I didn't pay too much attention to it until I was old enough to realize was a fucking dorky ass name it really was."
After a caller phoned in somehow mistaking Corin for Conan OBrien, Corin says:
"God, I hope I'm better looking than Conan O'Brien. That guys got like... a bobblehead."
After another whacked out caller phoned in reciting some kind of weird "male enhancement" pitch, Corin says:
"What does it enhance? Male enhancement is too general of a statement... if its grapefruit sized balls, I'll take them to the fruit and vegatble section of the grocery store next to my place and see if I can make some money off them. But if it makes my nuts look like a lychee fruit you can forget about it."

Interview I can't believe I'm saying this but I know who the dogs barking in the background was. But to the person's defense, there was no way to know that the call wasn't put on mute! |
